Dr. Khodr Fakih is the Chairman and founder of the Lawfiniti Group. He is a professor of law and international commercial arbitration at the Lebanese University – School of Law, and the Lebanese American University. He is also the Director of Legal Studies and the founding Director of the LLM program at the Lebanese American University (Beirut and Byblos Campuses).
Dr. Fakih’s areas of expertise range from arbitration law, company law, corporate law, real estate law, intellectual property law to licensing, franchising, commercial representation, supply chain, construction, civil and commercial litigations.
Dr. Fakih has over 25 years of experience in litigations, international arbitration and legal advising. He represents and advices major beverage and food companies, pharmaceutical companies, real estate companies, financial institutions, commercial agencies, and franchising companies in Lebanon, Oman, Dubai and the United States of America.
Dr. Fakih has a Doctor of Juridical Science in international arbitration law (S.J.D), a Master of Laws (L.L.M) in business and commercial law with honor from Northwestern University, Chicago, Illinois, and a Bachelor Degree in Law from the Lebanese University School of Law Beirut, Lebanon.
Dr. Fakih has several publication in several topics such as alternative dispute resolution, domestic and international arbitration, Company and Business Law, Contract Law, Employment Law, Corporate Governance, Merger and Acquisition, and Constitutional Law.
Dr. Fakih is a member of the Beirut Bar Association since 1997. He is actively engaged in many committees at the Bar Association and has done an extensive pro bono work. Dr. Fakih is fluent in Arabic and English.
